ecotext is a web of ideas, stories, memories, real and imagined. Mine and yours. Heavy and whimsical. They take place in time. They take place online. They take place in imaginary online spaces that mirror real online places and all of this happens…online.

ecotext is a hypertext game about community, shared storytelling, loneliness, and climate change. The game will change as users interact. It is still undergoing development, but has been live as of October 12, 2024. This game was made by Gregory Sawchuck and Eva Arroyo with help from Tsering Norbu with funding from the Columbia Heyman Humanities Center.
